CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

SONA BREWERIES PLC, as a socially responsible corporate organization discharge her corporate social responsibility towards ensuring that her activities and programs in impact positively on the lives of all her stake holders.

Her commitment has helped to determine the following programs and projects that the company had undertaken in the recent past.

  • Provision of portable water for communities around the factory location. This has impacted positively on the lives of large number of people who have benefited from the various borehole projects financed by the company.

 

  • Also executed was a Multimillion Naira drainage project aimed at assuaging the untold suffering from perennial flooding of members of the Ifelodun and Isaka communities.
  • In the area of health, the company financed the carrying out Eye test and provision of free eye glass for the needy in the society.

 

  • We have also complemented Governments efforts in the area of crime prevention by providing an operational Vehicle for the Nigeria Police, Sango Ota area command.

All  these efforts have been  accorded due recognition as the company was  the recipient of the prestigious  manufactures Association of Nigeria  (Ogun state branch) Aare Hadji Tokunbo Alli Merit Award for  excellence in Community Development in the year 2007.
